The international scientific conference on the theme “Academician Yagub Mahmudov’s readings – I” will be held on April 4-7 in Sheki.
The Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) reported that the conference will be organized jointly by the Executive Power of Sheki Town and the Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, with the scientific support of the Institute of History and Ataturk Research Center of Turkey.
The addresses will be delivered on following sections at the International conference: «The main stages of academician Yagub Mahmudov’s life and scientific creativity», «Academician Yagub Mahmudov as a prominent researcher of Azerbaijan diplomatic history», «School of academician Yagub Mahmudov in the historical science of Azerbaijan», «Historical problems of Turkic world in academician Yagub Mahmudov’s scientific creativity» and «The struggle against distortion and falsification of Azerbaijan history in the scientific activity of academician Yagub Mahmudov».
Conference materials will be published and distributed to the participants. Articles should be sent to the Organizing Committee by March 15.
The papers should not exceed 8-10 pages, and the electronic version should be sent toameatarixinstitutu@gmail.com and tofignajafli@gmail.com.
The name of the article should be the name of the author on the right and the name of the institution, the organization and the city where it works, the scientific degree and the scientific name.
The text of the article should be typed in Microsoft Word 2007-2010, font size -Times New Roman 14, line spacing 1.5, and margins: left – 3 cm, right – 1 cm, top and bottom – 2 cm. Above the topic of the article the name and surname of the author, and at the bottom – the name of the organization or the institution he (she) represents, the city, the academic degree and academic rank of the author should be noted.
Traveling of the scholars from abroad who join the conference is on their own expense. The expenses for housing and meals will be covered by the inviting organization.
